The Advertisements you have just seen are based on a wide knowledge of the marketing of variety of products through many trade channels. Our Clients have found our facilities exactly the same as if our address were Madison Avenue instead of Fourth and Walnut During the past several years, we have used the following: On the Way Up...in RADIO At THE PRESENT TIME, a relatively small part of our billing is accounted for by radio advertising. But radio has been an important part of our advertising experience during the past 15 years. We have been a part of building, directing and scripting eight network programs. We have continuously and effectively used local, sectional and spot radio for almost all of our clients. As our radio department expands, our clients will continue to benefit from the experience and shirt-sleeve knowledge of radio by the principals of the agency. A 5 minute HOLLYWOOD GOSSIP program for The U.S. Shoe Corporation was so well received by dealers that they paid to put it on 175 stations. AT YOUR SERVICE, a program we built for Cincinnati Gas & Electric won the award for The Best Public Utility Program for 1944. On station WKRC, its most recent Hooper rating was 6.7, topping all other morning Network programs, including those on WLW. Other Hooper ratings at same period (11:15 a.m.): "Linda's First Love" (Kroger-WLW) 3.5; "Glamour Manor" (P&G-WSAI) 2.9; "Big Sister" (Lever Bros.-WCKY) 2.4; "Music Parade" (WCPO) 3.5. Tom McCarthy & THE NEWS, an SWB "discovery", consistently gets more listeners over WKRC at noon than any other Cincinnati station, including WLW. On the Way Up in Research
One of THE FIRST departments established by Stockton-West-Burkhart was a research department. One of the first men to be employed was a research man. Adequate research is considered so important by Stockton-West-Burkhart that at the present time the President of the company has temorarily assumed the duties of Director of Research. We are now in process of employing a Research Director of outstanding ability and expect to secure such a man within the next thirty days.
Your ADVERTISING will probably become the largest account in our agency. As such, the facilities of our agency will be "custom made" to your specific needs.
