This is a CD of Scanned images of the original 1886 Covington & Newport, KY City Directory, including Dayton, Bellevue, Ludlow & Bromley, KY. Consisting of 368 pages, including Surname, Given Name, Occupation & Address for 1886. Also included are Advertisements, & Business Directories. (This is not a complete directory, but it is only missing pages 1 thru 24, which is probably the Covington City Guide & Street listing. It begins with the Covington Directory and does include Newport City Guide. The Library's copy of this Directory was made up of Xerox pages. The Library's copy was also missing pages 81 & 82 (Gray to Griffin).
Each page is labeled using the first Surname and the last Surname on that page, making it easier for you to find the surname that you need. You can enlarge the image for easier viewing and you can print out the pages that you need. Included are easy instructions for using this CD.
