This is a CD of Scanned images of the original 1848-49 Cincinnati Guide & General Business Directory, consisting of 208 pages. This book is similar to the City Directories. It consists of Surname, Given Name, Address where they worked in 1848-49. I found this book to be very helpful with my research. I found out that my relative was in Real Estate, opening up an area of research that I never thought about checking. This book is not limited to Genealogy. It is set up using the name of the Occupation, then by Surname. There is also a map included, which is very helpful.
This CD is set up using the first Surname and the last Surname on each page, and I have put the images in folders for easier searching. Included are easy instructions for using this CD. This CD is easy to use and is useful for more than Genealogy.
